Week 08/52 - Multiply

For the Teleidoscope Project week 8, multiply.

I know I'm uploading this a day earlier than I would normally, but I'm out all day tomorrow so I thought I may as well just upload it today.

It's been such a tense, long week and I'm so glad it's the weekend!

In case you didn't already recognise my teddy bear, this is Dou-Dou (A French thing although I think it's actually spelt differently) He is the best teddy in the whole world!

Just a quickie.

Press 'L' it looks annoying small

"DINAGYANG" came from the root word "Dagyang" which means to make merry. It is a religious and cultural activity celebrated annually by the Ilonggos every 4th sunday of January where they paint their bodies in black to imitate the black, small and slender Negritos/Aetes who are the aborigines of Panay. They are dressed in colorful and fashionable Aetas costumes and dance rhythmically to the beat of the drums.

Photo Manipulation from Picsart's Daily Re-Mix Challenge. Original photo was a plain B&W of the lady laying down. Some holga effect, vignette, and hue adjustments turned it into a decent abstract-ish photo

100 quotes project - I find hope in the darkest of days, and focus in the brightest. I do not judge the universe. - Dalai Lama

So, I only have one empty wall in my condo and yes, it's yellow. All my pictures are yellow... ugh...

I can't wait until we have more daylight and I can shoot outside after work.

This is loosely based on a dream I once had, in which I was on my deathbed and decided to get a clone made of myself. In the dream, I wanted the clone to take care of me until I died, and then live on, so a part of me would continue. The dream took a strange turn, because I started to resent the clone and decided that I would murder the clone and commit suicide. The clone being another version of myself, knew what I was up to and decided to fake it's death, so that I could die with a sense of accomplishment. What this dream says about my subconscious, I have no idea but I'm sure it could land me in therapy.
