To get my a$$ up off the couch and take a walk to support MS Awareness. For my sister (my best friend!), and my aunts whom all have lived with MS, I dedicate this to you. Even though your life is not easy, things are more difficult to do, you tire easily,... you still persevere. You walk on and fight the daily fight. It is for you that I pledge to take that walk and support MS awareness. For you, I will spread the word. I will fight with you and for you! I love you!

A potentially disabling disease of the spinal cord (central nervous system) and brain is called multiple sclerosis (MS). In this disease it causes communication problems between your brain and the rest of your body because the immune system attacks the protective sheath (myelin) that covers nerve fibers. The nerves will soon deteriorate or damaged permanently.
There are days when those afflicted with MS live in the shadows. People don't know about this disease and may be reluctant to relate to those so afflicted.
There are those who have suffered who receive treatment and therapy and can now live in the sunlight.
These people live, and move, and have their being side-by-side with others in this world, and we are given this time to connect hope with hurt.
