Today I've spent my day at a local MS Awareness Event run by MS Society Cymru/Wales at Swansea's Liberty Stadium. Didn't capture many photos for the very reason I was asked to sit on a Q&A Panel about the Challenges of Family Life for all affected by MS.
This is me spouting forth below, (not doing Karaoke) ;) captured with my camera by my OH.

A cidade de Lisboa foi, uma vez mais, palco de uma das suas mais emblemáticas provas: aquela que é, para muitos, apelidada de “corrida da ponte”, a Meia Maratona de Lisboa.
Por tradição, esta é uma das conquistas mais acarinhadas pelos nossos atletas, um hino à boa disposição, à entrada na primavera e à superação de novas metas. Com uma pitada de vontade extra por corrermos por quem não o pode fazer, uma conquista destas ganha todo um outro encanto.
Nestes 21 quilómetros de travessia do Tejo, contámos com os contributos de 25 atletas Mágicos, contabilizando mais de 500 quilómetros a correr por quem vive com Esclerose Múltipla.
Por isso mesmo, muito obrigado e parabéns aos nossos atletas: Alexandre Pinto, António Cardoso, Carlos Ferreira, Cláudia Rato, Daniel Ramos, Eduardo Santos, Eládio Manuel, Filipe Cardoso, Joana Sofia Martins, João Silva, Joaquim Pedro Melo, Júlio Verde, Luís São Pedro (em estreia), Manuel Moreira, Mariano Magalhães, Mário Filipe, Marta Andrade, Nuno Santos, Patrícia Lourenço, Paulo Ferreira, Paulo Pereira, Pedro Pereira, Sílvia Duarte Fernandes, Vítor Duarte, Vítor Ferreira e o estreante Xavier Dias.

Naval Hospital Bremerton/Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command Bremerton
A snapshot of success… Mass Communication Specialist 3rd Class Meagan Christoph was surprised at work one day when assigned on Limited Duty status to Naval Hospital Bremerton by then-Navy Chief of Information Rear Adm. Charles W. Brown phoned to inform her she had also been chosen as 2019 DoD Thomas Jefferson Military Writer of the Year. Christoph has since been medically retired from active duty and was recently diagnosed with multiple sclerosis – thanks to timely Navy Medicine identification of the disease – which is an autoimmune disease that impacts a person’s central nervous system such as the brain, optic nerves, spinal cord. It can’t be cured. But it can be treated, which is exactly what she is doing, with the help of Navy Medicine and civilian healthcare experts (Official Navy photo by Douglas H Stutz, NHB/NMRTC Bremerton public affairs officer).
