I have tended to not publish my multiple-exposure work too much in recent months, no particular reason but I am still producing new work.

This was part of an experiment in homebrew HDR (high dynamic range) photography, mainly to see whether I could get good results from a cheap camera like our Polaroid digital. What you see here is the product of 5 exposures ranging from –2.0 to +2.0EV, taken one at a time, then combined using FDRTools Basic for Mac OS X. Comparing with a single exposure of the same scene, the highlights are still a little blown out, but other details are captured more naturally--softer shadows, some colors a little more saturated. Promising results for a $99 camera and a little free-of-charge software.
Interestingly, I got an even better result by using only 3 of the 5 exposures! See that image.
First exposed in Ohio by Erin (fountaincoke) and then double exposed in Chicago by me.
