Multiple SAR Teams during their CPD session at Cardiff International White Water centre.
The teams involved were,
Wiltshire Search and Rescue
Dorset Search and Rescue
Avon & Somerset Search and Rescue
Hampshire Search and Rescue Dogs
Lowland Rescue Oxfordshire
Severn Area Rescue Association
This was organised and part-funded by SWERA - South West England Rescue Association, with Mountain Rescue England and Wales and Lowland Rescue Using a venue like this means the can practice high risk rescue techniques in a controlled environment.
The event ran across the afternoon and evening, allowing team members to complete various work stations in both light and dark, including:
> Rescue from vehicles in water
> Tethered swim, throwline and reach pole rescues
> 2 and 4 point tethers with a sled
> Boat evacuation using a Hi-line
> Powered Boat Ladder Operations

Crossings of roads, tram wires and road stripes. In the middle, a Bansky's stencil "If at first you don't succeed, call an airstrike". Spotted first in 2010, it's a rather famous one.
