No Photoshop, point and shoot digital camera, No gluing together multiple photos.
Taken in a single shot with the panoramic mode of my point and shoot.
The secret?
In panoramic mode, have the subject move across the field and keep the camera pointed at him while you sweep the panoramic shot. Takes a little trial and error to get the timing and number of exposures to come out right, but there are lots of fun effects along the way. Her in this image my subject is 1/2 lost to another dimension in one of his images.

The pic that will live in infamy...
This is the last pic I took with my old digital camera...before I dropped it and it fell to its death.
Fortunately, the folks where I purchased said camera were nice enough to replace the camera at no charge, even though it was very obviously a) dropped, and b) my fault.
Sometimes karma really does work.
Take insperation from Ed Templeton and investigating ways in which to exhabit work but at the same time keeping multiple in mind.
