Trip with coworkers Greg, Travis and Brent.
Flew LAX - Nadi, Fiji, then took boat ferry to two different islands where we stayed multiple nights at each island.
One of the trip highlights was visiting the island Cast Away was filmed.
The last night we stayed at Hilton Fiji Beach Resort.
After Fiji we flew to Hong Kong, China on Fiji Air.

Sometimes, my husband likes a card so much he buys it several times. I think he forgets he's already done so. It's ok, at least his message is consistent ;). Discussed here.

sadly, it's hard in this picture to really make out the SWAT-type cops in flak jackets and helmets, because they added a real sense of surreality to the whole experience.

Lt. Col. Robert E. Lee Magee relinquished command of 1st Battalion, 18th Infantry Regiment "Vanguards" in a Change of Command ceremony Friday, June 20. Lt. Col. Andy Sanchez assumed command during the ceremony. Magee led the battalion through a decisive action rotation at the National Training Center and multiple deployments to Africa, including a six-month term as the East African Response Force in the Horn of Africa.
