Portraits of my more or less old camera's and accessories.
Fuji HD-M with date. I bought this camera at spring 1990 at Daiei department store, 21-3, Narimasu 2-Chōme, Itabashi, Tokyo
Japan 175-0094.
"HD-M" stands for "Heavy Duty -Motor". It was designed to resist to water immersions and difficult weather or environmental conditions. I did most of my photos in Japan with it during the year 1991-1990 and used many years after. 30 years after. It still functions in full including the flash and dating back. The dating back was however limited to the year 2019.

I had a slow leak of automatic transmission fluid coming through the white nylon connector in the back of the transmission. It is an F125 Multi-Function Switch. I gave the area a good cleaning to locate the source of the leak.
I lifted the driver side of the van during the change-out to conserve fluid but lost about 500cc. So I had to learn about topping-off the fluid. There is a File in the Yahoo Group that is excellent to follow written by Garrett. Be sure to study it well. Need to have a nice torque wrench.

S99-01418 (January 1999) --- --- This image illustrates NASA's Multifunction Electronic Display Subsystem (MEDS), otherwise known as "glass cockpit." It represents a number of important modifications that have been accomplished on the Orbiter's flight deck. This photo is actually a recent one of the fixed base Space Shuttle mission simulator in the Johnson Space Center's (JSC) Mission Simulation and Training Facility. The fixed base simulator has been outfitted with MEDS to be used by flight crews for training. The Space Shuttle Atlantis is the only Orbiter so far outfitted with MEDS and will fly with the new display system for the first time late this year on STS-101. All of the Orbiters will eventually be outfitted with the new system, which enhances safety on the Orbiter by providing multiple backup display functions and brings the Space Shuttle cockpit displays up to date with technology that is now common in many commercial airliners.

New V-groove channels make adjustments both faster and easier. Both the fence and the miter gauge have been redesigned for better stability and more accurate results. The MFT/3 has 85% more working area than the older MFT 800, and is 15% lighter than the MFT 1080. Even though the MFT/3 has many improvements, we did not abandon features that you have come to trust and enjoy—features like perforated tops, side channels for attaching clamps, and folding legs to allow two working heights, and easy transport.

Dalla Corte dc pro
An innovative and ergonomic body encloses the functions of a highly performing semi-automatic
machine.
The original and patented multi-boiler technology lies at the core of Dalla Corte dc pro: all main
parameters are shown on the front multifunction display and can be programmed independently.
In order to provide still greater temperature stability also during prolonged extractions, the mass of
each group is 20% greater than the mass of the group in the evolution model.
The solutions
• Energy efficiency: each brewing unit can be turned on and off independently. The steam and
hot water boiler is independent of brewing units.
• Ergonomic controls: the milk foam is obtained with a half twist of the dial.
• Hot water: two different brewing units (such as for Americanos and teas).
• Perfect thickness of milk foam: 3-hole tip steam wand; boiler pressure can be adjusted
independently of hot water temperature.
• Perfect extraction: 54mm diameter filter holder.
• Ergonomic filter holders: the accurate study of the handle ensures both a uniform tamping of
coffee and an easy and quick docking to brewing units.
• Multifunction display: easy to use for both the programming and control of all machine functions.
• Grinder Control System – GCS: with Dalla Corte grinders, linked to the espresso machine
through a serial cable, grind and dose are automatically adjusted thanks to the multifunction
panel programming.
• Online Control System – OCS: the machine functions can be remotely controlled and their
parameters changed via the web.
• Milk Control System – MCS: perfect milk foam is obtained with a half twist of the dial.
• Simple construction: the machine can be opened easily by removing four screws.
