The first of three pieces submitted to the Multicultural Fair art competition by the Computer Graphic Design Club at NCC in 2009. This tied for first place with the other piece I collaborated on with one of the talented club members, David Sosa.
About 200 people attended our Mulitcultural Kickoff, where they heard from United Way supported Cornerstone Center for Early Learning on how important United Way is to helping children at their agency. Attendees were also treated to cultural dances and great food. Hosted at Monsanto's Research facility.

Perhaps this is the easiest way to express it: Vancouver is multicultural. Just the people crossing Joyce St and Kingsway St prove that.
Nothing out of the ordinary here in Vancouver and in other multicultural cities out there, but its important to remember that this capture might not have happened in other places in the world, where multiculturalism is less prevalent.
