About 200 people attended our Mulitcultural Kickoff, where they heard from United Way supported Cornerstone Center for Early Learning on how important United Way is to helping children at their agency. Attendees were also treated to cultural dances and great food. Hosted at Monsanto's Research facility.

Attendees were also treated to cultural dances and great food. Hosted at Monsanto's Research facility.

On Friday, September 19, Monsanto hosted the fifth annual Inspire Fashion Show which is supported by United Way's Multicultural Leadership Society. Hundreds of attendees had the oppurtunity to experience current and cultural fashions from all over the world.

The remote, mountainous corners of northern and western Thailand – and neighbouring Laos and Myanmar – are home to countless small villages of “mountain folk” (ชาวเขา), or ethnic “Hill Tribes”. Thailand Hilltribe Education Projects (THEP) helps students to continue in school or university. Santisuk School in Chiang Mai province has a number of tidy dormitories which accommodate several different Hill Tribe groups during the school year.
