The Gillard Labor Government today launched the new Australian Multicultural Council (AMC) and a new local ambassadors program to champion inclusion and highlight the benefits of Australia’s diversity.
The launch of the new AMC demonstrates the Gillard Labor Government’s commitment to policy and programs that build on the strength of Australia’s cultural diversity.
The new Council will provide a strong voice on multicultural issues and contribute constructively to the broader deliberations of Government.

One of five identical statues to represent man as a whole and his achievements. Chine, Australia, Croatia, America and South Africa all have this beautiful statue.
In South Africa locals armed with hacksaws soon made short work of the bronze work bedore they replaced the statue at huge cost, our municipality raised the plinth by 4 metres and placed in a secure cordoned off section. Spoils the statue.
Odd thing though, they failed to bolt the gate leading to the statue, so in short time the hacksaw gang will be back, only this time with ladders.
