On the trails just above the Sunrise parking area at Mt. Rainier you can find a group of marmots that wants to be photographed.
Every day, all summer long, everyone with a phone, DSLR or homemade pinhole camera takes pictures of them.
Here's one of those pictures.

Finished for the Scrappy Mug Rug Swap. I'm really happy with the result. I love the wonky star and I know my partner is going to smile when she sees it.
While making this, I fell in love with the green polka dot fabric. It's Robert Kaufman Mingle. Well, I happened to find it in a LQS yesterday and bought the last 2.5 yds from the bolt!
I have to give all the fabric selection credit to Fabricworm dot com for putting together their prism bundle. I LOVE this grouping and can't wait to work with the scraps.
Whoever decided to make a Dragonfly Inn mug from Gilmore Girls is my favorite. I love big mugs full of tea, hot chocolate, or coffee.

(28/365) In what seems like another lifetime I worked for a defense contractor, and we typically got project coffee mugs. This one was for a project who's unclassified name was "beta". For those unfamiliar with Greek, this symbol is beta, the second letter of the Greek alphabet. It's still in the mug rotation some 25 years later. For 119 pictures in 2019, #24 "Coffee/Cafe au Lait" (I drink mine black thanks).

The Moomins (Swedish: Mumintroll) are the central characters in a series of books and a comic strip by Swedish-speaking Finnish illustrator Tove Jansson, originally published in Swedish by Schildts in Finland. They are a family of white, round fairy tale characters with large snouts that make them resemble hippopotamuses. However, despite this resemblance, the Moomin family are trolls. The family live in their house in Moominvalley, though in the past, their temporary residences have included a lighthouse and a theatre. They have had many adventures along with their various friends.
Twelth Night is upon us and while some people take down their Christmas tree, I do the Pagan mid-Winter harvest at our local mug tree. That is me set up for drinking vessels for another year!
