I was really worried about these elephants. The water was shallow and 16 crocs patrolled to and fro...I felt sure they were just waiting for an opportunity...

An meinem Gerburtstag 2003 haben wir mit drei Paaren im Moor gefeiert. Erst schick essen gehen - und dann mit den eleganten Kleidern rein in den schwarzen Moorschlamm. Das war schön :-) Und kuschelig :-)
Dieses Kleid hatte 1993 mal 800,-- DM gekostet. Nach zwei Schwangerschaften war es 1999 im Schrank geschrumpft *hüstel* und wurde daher zum Badekleid fürs Moorkurbad bestimmt :-)
Last weekend 8000 runners participated in the Fishermans friend Strongman Run 2014 in Hellendoorn/Nijverdal. This 'pirate' was the last competitor to cross this mudbath. He was exhausted but did not want to give up after completing 16 of the 21 kms.

I bought red, pink, purple, blue, green, yellow, black and white. However, I only have the black and white right now... I am saving the rest for Christmas, tehe!

14.8.15... it rained, and rained, and the campsite was a bit of a mudbath.. so we went swimming and then back towards edinburgh to see inside out at the cinema! when we got back it rained again all night and we hardly slept because the noise in the tent was so loud.. lol!
Along the Dalyan River you can visit the mud baths and hot springs reputed to be good for the skin and your general health and well being.
Take a boat trip from Dalyan and wallow, hippopotamus style, in the warm, sticky mud swamp. It not only claims to have therapeutic properties (curing all manner of ills from skin problems to gastric conditions) but also claims to make you look ten years younger!
The mud bath is always colourful and crowded but provides a fantastic photo opportunity. You can immortalise this moment by posing for the camera before and after getting into the mud.
Once you have covered yourself in the mud then simply wait for it to dry in the sun. The sulphur pool in which you clean yourself after your mudbath registers a temperature of 40 degrees......so take your swimming costume and a towel.
