This is my husband's new baby for his boat! A new, powerful, beauty called a "Mud Buddy." Why is it called a Mud Buddy?
Crap, I don't know why it's called Mud OR Buddy! :) All I know is that he waited a lonnnng time to get it and it finally got here on Wednesday :)
Hubby is happy :)

Looks like there are 5 in the nest. About an hour after I took this photo, the first fledged and landed on the deck, sat there a while, then flew off to join Mom & Dad surfing the air patterns around the big dome at CSAC. That was yesterday ... this morning another one left ... and now we are three!

I truly suck at in-flight shots so I was pretty happy when some of them actually turned out. But then...I figured with as many shots as I took (over 500 that day) and as many birds as there were atleast ONE had to come out, right? LOL!
