Even inside your quite and secluded home you will be reminded that you are living in baltimore's midtown. Mt Vernon is the best the city has to offer and your apartment is walking distance to peabody, MICA, MD General Hospital. You are a quick 15 minute walk to downtown, inner harbor, university of MD, and university of Baltimore. Lightrail, Penn Station, Marc, and Baltimore Metro are all accessible with a couple of blocks.

I took these steps to get to first grade in Hedges Central elementary in 1956. 2010 and they haven't changed a bit.

The Education Center at Mt. Vernon has an amazing array of exhibits, including a section about the slaves who lived and worked at Mt. Vernon.
