tudents [Neetu 1ngh 1roh1, Dharmendra - osh~)~1a~v~mpleted the I" year of the MTech programme offered by CCBB, and have not been allotted guides for the J'd em t r as evident from the 2"" June notification put up on the School's otice Board . Though the final grade sheets are yet to be officially put up, the fact they have not been allotted guides is an indication that they have been denied admission in the J'd semester. .
During the 1 emester itself, as part of the mid semester evaluation ·, the students have at for 6 written exams (one each for three courses. and three for the 4'11 course) and ubmittcd one as. ignm nt as required. imilarly. they sat for the ame number of written exam during the end emester evaluation . During the second semester, they ugain at for 6 wrinen exams for the mid emester as we ll as end emcster evaluation. .
A11 the mid term re uIts barring two were not revealed to the ·tud en t · in the course of both scme tcrs. On lv one teacher from the centre informed the students of their marl< (not the final grade). The class tak.:n b)· this teacher con. titute. only part of a course. The only other course where th y received th eir grades is taken by a vi iting facult y. J USU would like to bring to your atlention certain objective anomalies that prevail in th evaluations ofCCBB. especia lly witll regard to this particular case. .
The students concerned submi!led all their assignments and sat for all the written exams. If they were no performing well in the interim mid se mester exam then it was the d uty of the faculty to engage,. it the tudent with their exam scripts and grades before the end scme ter evaluation it elf. However, th was not done at any point in time. In doing so, the faculty not only failed to help student to gradual improve and update their performance, but also denied them a chance in time to do so. .
