It's hard to find parts of Great Falls on the Missouri to photograph in their natural state without dams getting in the picture. One portion is Black Eagle falls, visible from a viewpoint in Great Falls, Montana. Black Eagle, the farthest upstream of five cascades, is one of the "smaller" falls that Lewis & Clark encountered on their epic journey. This falls is 26' high and much reduced from its primordial glory. For more info, see this site.
