The X_MSG project is about sex work activism, social telephony and rewired technology. The project is a collaboration between two amateur technological tinkerers and a group of sex work activists. Together they have put forward their energy to create DIY SMS based software system for women involved with the sex industry. Ultimately, the X_MSG software system is the outcome of an ongoing experiment between amateur coding and the pedagogy of sex work activism that allows for a new exploration of media systems.

Master Sgt. Brent D. Wipperman was promoted to his current rank during a promotion ceremony held at 401st AFSB headquarters Apr. 1. Wipperman is the officer-in-charge of the Bagram RPAT QA team. He is part of a group of Soldiers with the 227th Quartermaster Company assigned to the 402nd AFSB who volunteered to deploy to the 401st for a short term assignment to assist with equipment fielding and retrograde. Congratulations on your promotion and thank you for your hard work and dedicated service!
About the 401st:
The 401st Army field Support Brigade provides Soldiers, Sailors, Airman, and Marines, the tools and resources necessary to complete the mission. If they shoot, drive it, fly it, wear it, eat it or communicate with it, the 401st helps provide it. The brigade assists coalition partners with many of their logistical and sustainment needs.
