Dzięki Bogu miałem dzisiaj czas by zrobić tramwajowe zdjęcia. Trochę śniegu w Krakowie jest.

Bucket List Item completed....I was able to drive a tram! I am in the main Tram station getting ready to visit the tram I will test drive. So cool...I am still smiling today/I never had imagined that this wold happen but secretly hoped that one day I may be able to and now just a few days before moving to Warsaw I had the chance to do so. Awesome experience and so much fun. Thank you MPK for allowing me the opportunity to do it!

Prezydent Krakowa w końcu publicznie przyznał to, co każdy widzi - że na pewno pod koniec czerwca tramwaje nie pojadą nową trasą. Może z początkiem września.
The Mayor of Krakow has finally publicly admitted what everyone can see – that trams will definitely not run on the new route by the end of June. Perhaps by the beginning of September.

In 2018 this tram was repainted into this smart orange and cream livery in preparation for the moment it is handed over for preservation. The tram dates from 1969 and looked great!

For the duration of the track renewal work on the Trasa Kórnicka at Osiedla Lecha, service 25 was introduced using one of the bidirectional trams. This was a route shuttling between Kórnicka and Polanka, a journey of little more than 60 seconds. This tram was built in 1969 for Frankfurt and came to Poznan in 2005. In 2018 MPK Poznan received 30 of these new Moderus Gamma trams, I must admit I quite like them, although it does mean the older trams in the fleet are being withdrawn.

Besides the uni-directional trams there are also new bidirectional trams entering service, so far there are four in service, this being the second. They wear a metallic green livery rather than the standard colours. Their arrival will no doubt mean the end of the Duwag bidirectional trams.
Remembering triple-car Konstal units, which sadly are no longer grouped like that, but can still be found joined in doubles.

MPK Poznan have a number of older Düwag trams which are now used for maintainence of the tram network, such as this former Frankfurt tram dating from 1963.

Izrael Poznański - jeden z trzech żydowskich "króli bawełny" kupił w XIX w. skromną kamienicę w sercu Łodzi i postanowił zmienić ją w neobarokowy pałac.
Obok niego przejeżdża klasyczna łódzka 805Na z regularnym kursem. Łódź robi wrażenie. My takich tramwajów w Krakowie już nie mamy. No i takich pałaco-kamienic rzecz jasna :P

Izrael Poznański - one of three jewish kings of cotton bought in the 19th century a regular tenement and decided to change it to neo-baroque palace.
Next to him, pass regular Łódź tramway - 805Na on regular line. We, citizens of Cracow don't have that kind of classic tramways. And of course that kind of palace-tenement :P
