MPC 76 Chevy Caprice. 1/25 scale. Nice kit. Comes with a car hauler trailer.

 

Paints used, all airbrushed:

 

Body: X-2 White , and the blue is a mix of X-13 Metallic Blue and X-3 Royal Blue (Tamiya). Clearcoat is Future floor polish, thinned with isopropyl alcohol.

 

Engine: Gunze Sangyo 23 Shine Red.

 

Transmission and exhaust: XF-16 Flat Aluminum.

 

Engine compartment and chassis: Canadian Tire industrial grade flat black from the spray can.

 

Interior: XF-18 Medium Blue with Future floor polish on the dash, steering wheel, and rear package shelf for a vinyl look.

 

Formula 560 Canopy Glue used for glass installation.

My oldschool installation setup - a modified Akai MPC2000XL

with added external trigger inputs - outputting 8 channels, fitted with maximun 32 mb of ram!

Two spiders for the price of One

Quick sketch of my MPC 1000 as part of testing my mini Altoids paint kit. I kicked the Viridian and Burnt Umber out and replaced them with Burnt Sienna and Cerulean Blue.

SCT011 idles out the front of the MPC in Dry Creek.
