Some curly pasta (the kids favourite) with some grated Mozzarella melting into it.

As you can see, Pasta Bolognese.

I stuck the camera right into the bag of shredded Mozzarella. Those blueish green spots are reflections for the label on the bag...not mold. LOL

Calzone with mozzarella, Gouda cheese, tomatoes, basil
- A calzone is a folded pizza or turnover shaped like a half-moon and made of salted bread dough.
Sandwich-sized calzones are often sold at Italian lunch counters or by street vendors because they are easy to eat while standing or walking.
As a rule, calzones are usually stuffed with tomato and cheese(s) such as ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, Provolone or a type of regional cheese.
The dough is folded into a half-moon shape then sealed with an egg wash mixture, or formed into a spherical shape and baked or fried.
After cooking, calzones might (depending on region) be served with marinara sauce or topped with a combination of garlic, olive oil, and parsley.

Mozzarella Stick Onion Rings Recipe by Tasty

These Onion Rings were delicious. It is not something you want to put together last minute.
It is time consuming to make, and ‘fussy’, as I would say. My suggestion is to prepare the onion rings when you are not rushed. Freeze the rings and fry another day.
Will eventually post my rendition on my blog, sometimes SAVORY.

another day, another childish animal in my food. those are typically sized cherry tomatoes, by the way, so picture how little this box is!

Burnt ends Pizza. Slow-cooked beef brisket with a hint of chipotle, sweet & smoky BBQ sauce, mozzarella and red onions, topped with roasted tomatoes and red chilli, and parsley.
Our trip up Via de' Tornabuoni actually had less to do with shopping than it was eating as our destination: Obica Mozzarella Bar was up the street at No. 16. And might I suggest that if you are ever in Florence and you want to try fresh--and I mean fresh--mozzarella, you must stop off for lunch. Amazing. Seriously, so happy that I didn't even notice that my eyeglass case was in the shot.

Brush the French bread with olive oil and dust each one very lightly with garlic powder, then bake until hot (but not toasted). Stacked on top is a slice of tomato and then fresh mozzarella cheese. Add a pinch of salt and finally a fresh picked basil leaf. Grind pepper over everything. (very summery and delicious!)
