MOVING FORWARD is both an inner and an outer journey. It is the creative resolution of body and soul. It is a movement that heals the past and creates the future. It gives us the opportunity to glimpse ourselves from another’s perspective. Moving forward is an individual and collective awakening that begins from this perfect moment.

This gathering of nine is a visual representation of the archetype of gestation and rebirth. It invokes the inherent pathways within each of us to create and transform. It reminds us of the global momentum as we all participate in birthing a new humanity.

people who are stuck in the past are dead, anyway

i find myself living in a world where unwanted branches cloud my brain and distort what i see...

This again was an image I made back in my A-Level Photography taking a massive inspiration from the fine art conceptual photographer Alex Stoddard and sitting here typing this message to you all now is making me realise how important this photo is to me today. Not only is it another image of where something simple has come to life in a dramatic way but also it make me realise how much my life has changed. The Subject of this Image here used to be one of my closest friends at one point and now today, I am often seeing myself as a recluse and my life was distorted by one event which changed my world in some good ways and some bad and negative ways. Moving forward i can look back and through everything I've experience and see the good, but knowing where my future is going is something that is actually difficult for me to see. Fingers crossed i get somewhere good!

As a part of my "ready for hanging series", during the transition from one room to another, I took a few test snaps, and of course, my mind was on another trajectory and stylistic quest, so I only have 3 or 4 images of this kind. But I just wanted to share because it mimics my feeling today.

And until I can muster up the motivation to take some more new pics (but they are in the making. And they will be fabulous!)

Some people learn from their mistakes and change. Some people focus on their mistakes and live a life of guilt and regret.

Here's the funny story behind this photo:

so, as you can see, i got those awesome ankle length pants! i was so excited to wear them in this picture (just so perfect for the purpose of the shot!) because when i wear them in public i have to cuff them up because they just don't look right on me otherwise. they're slightly distressed, and very tight (spare me, they're not that tight). when i bent over to check my photos from my camera (on the tripod which was about one foot from the ground), i heard this awful ripping sound! the "slightly distressed" hole on the left knee ripped All The Way across! 8 ( i was in a little bit of shock but also happy that i could then bend my knee a little more freely... and the thing is that the pants are even big on me in the waist... and they're supposed to be stretch... my legs aren't that fat, are they?

BTW that tag is a joke

I am questioning how I can change my relationship with the objects that surround me by transforming them into interactive play experiences through the medium of knitting. Transforming Touch is a series of playable, shape changing, and kinetic knitting pieces. When touched, the pieces expand and illuminate, exposing an exciting variety of colours as it transforms. The pieces combine industrially knit fabric with soft robotic structures, sensors and LED lights to allow the work to playfully transform in response to the viewer’s touch. The pieces use colour and material to foster human interaction through play. The series is an expression of hope for a future filled with joy and play after the current crisis.

Imagine extending your hand to reach for the stars: you see the stars, you feel connected to them, and you long to touch them. That is the type of attention or consciousness that marks catholicity.
