An eastbound stack train clears up just in time for a pair of NS GP60s to emerge with a westbound coke train out of Burns Harbor.
I was waiting for this move for a good hour and a half to pop out onto the main as train after boring NS GE-powered train rolled by on the Chicago Line.
When they finally got the light out of the yard, yet another NS stacker emerged out of the west. Luckily it was running track speed and cleared up as the slow mover with the decent power emerged from behind a wall of stacks.
Sometimes it works out.

- Or will Seniors start to be treated with total governmental disdain, so as to save on pensions?

The People Mover in Venice is an automated elevated shuttle train. This is the Tronchetto island with a car parking facility and in four minutes you reach the major transportation hub of the city with the shuttle (via a station in the port for the big cruise ships). Venice has to cope with huge traffic volumes, not least due to the fact that the city attracts 15 million tourists every year.
The system has two trains pulled by a cable similar to a funicular (but with shallow gradients track). Each of the two trains can accommodate 200 passengers. They meet at the station in the port, the only part with two tracks.
The stations were designed by the Venetian architect Francesco Cocco. He was also responsible for the design of the two bridges crossing two canals.
The line was built by a consortium led by the Austrian company Doppelmayr Cable Car.
