This one is a base model. Photographed at the annual CTTA Move Over Law awareness towing parade in San Leandro. Interesting fact, remember the very small 1st generation Ford Ranger pickup from the 1980's? That's where the taillights on this Hino wrecker came from.

Elvis Towing of St. Pete reminds drivers to comply with Florida law by moving over a lane when passing emergency vehicles that are attending a roadside incident. Some bad accidents occurred when drivers (usually impaired) have ploughed into the rear of tow trucks and police cruisers. In one recent and infamous case, after striking and killing a tow truck operator on I-275, the drunken driver pressed on to her intended destination, the Hard Rock Casino outside Tampa. She is now doing jail time.
