You are looking at a handwound 17-jewel pocket watch movement in a dead cheap "Polaris" pocket watch from the Yantai Watch & Clock Factory.

These watches were sold for the breathtaking amount of 75 CNY (equals about 10.40 EUR or 11.76 USD) as souvenirs at the Yantai Watch & Clock Museum.

Considering how much gunk is inside this movement, it is no wonder the watch is that cheap...

I'm thinking that for it to be a sky scraper, it must have all hard edges of glass and steel, jagged and sharp as a knife. When the lines are blurred and fuzzy, it surely is only a tickler, not a scraper.
