I’ve been in SL for 83 Days. Things happen which I didn’t expect and plan at first. Second Life is such an amazing “dream comes true” world!
These 2 and a half months:
♡ I’ve opened my own gallery displaying my photos and even sold some of them!
♡ I’ve met great people in SL, broadening my horizon! And my dear photographer friends invite me to join their art project! Such an honor!
♡ Starting this SL Flickr account let me meet some great photographer friends! Lots of wonderful photos taken by all of you inspire me and motivate me to catch up!
I’ve never attained more than 1000 followers in any social media before. I haven’t thought of I can go this far! I’m very happy and grateful for all your support! Really means a lot to me!
Exploring sims and taking photos in SL is my self-healing or self-meditation process from RL. I’m not a cheerful girl but I would like and always try hard chasing light. So you may find warmth and hope in my photos. This is what I would like to express in my photography.
I really love the two life quotes wall decals sold in my gallery which speak my mind:
★ I’ve learned to stop rushing things that need time to grow.
★ Stronger than Yesterday
I would like to walk at my own comfortable pace in both RL and SL. Just do what I like in SL, not to rush for glory but to feel the sunshine or starlight every day. And I believe things will grow their beautiful way unexpectedly.
Last but not least, be tough and strong no matter how dark the road is. I know I can lift me up to the height I want.

Cuba, "Ever onward to victory"
The roads in Cuba are sown by large posters to the glory of Castroism. Accompanied by revolutionary slogans, that want to motivate Cubans to follow the right path. Fidel Castro has not created a cult of personality that would place him in sacred character. Heroes of Cuban independence are highlighted in detail by propaganda. And -myth in the myth- Che Guevara his fierce eyes and romantic beard, like a holy image.

Being on the move so much as we are these days it can be a challenge to do what we desire. We can easily fixate on what has to happen daily as opposed to what if I choose today to drift out thoughts to pleasurable thoughts and deeds. “When We Focus” on our personal happiness in things we truly are passionate about life can look so different. Do the needed things of course. Take the time to treat yourself to your true pleasures large or small. Having some Gratitude and Kindness to motivate our thinking is a good thing.

More petroglyphs from Valley of Fire .What fascinates me is what motivated these ancient peoples to go to some of the most inhospitable places imaginable to carve out these markings.
I felt motivated to take more photos this week. Inspired by the 'Beads' theme for the 4-Sep-2020 'Looking close ... on Fridays' group, I put my glass bead bracelets on a bottle, so the bokeh you can see are more beads around the back of the bottle. I had a fun time getting shots, then the usual hard time deciding which one to use :-)

Today was one of those lazy days when it comes to photography, I kept putting off picking up the camera and finally as the light was starting to sink I figured I'd better get moving.
What better for a day of procrastinating than a photo of a motivator... that and I was a little stumped on inspiration and coffee is always a good model!
Anyway hope everyone has had a good day, and a Happy Independence Day to all my American friends!

Netherlands, Lisse, the park “Keukenhof”, meaning kitchen garden, situated near the small town of Lisse.
On 32 hectares with approx.15 km of walking routes in the park bloom in spring with the annually main emphasis on more than 7 million flower bulbs in 800 different varieties of tulips also many other flowers well combined & arranged along the walking routes. Keukenhof is one of the world's largest flower gardens, therefor as known as the Garden of Europe, situated near Lisse.
The park is open annually only from mid-March to mid-May when the tulips are flowering. The best time to view the tulips is around mid-April.

One of my few "truly golden" photo opportunities! And, mother woke me up around 5:45 am so that I wouldn't miss it. I was never so motivated to get moving in the morning.
Taken in Glacier National Park on the morning of July 5, 1977 during a vacation in the park. The clouds had parted in just the right spot to illuminate Grinnell Point as the sun rose above the horizon. The peak is across Swiftcurrent Lake from Many Glacier Hotel.
Finally, this is a strictly "homemade" stitch from two slides that were taken without any thought at the time of stitching them. Worked out halfway decent, regardless.

Netherlands, Ruigenhoek, … an overwhelming ocean of countless tulips between Lisse/Keukenhof & the village of Ruigenhoek.

Great Britain, London, Thames Barrier, a movable flood barrier in the River Thames east of Central London, been operational since 1984. The barrier prevents the floodplain of all but the easternmost boroughs of Greater London from being flooded by exceptionally high tides & storm floods moving up from the North Sea. When needed, it is closed during high tide; at low tide it can be opened to restore the river's flow towards the sea.
The Thames Barrier spans 520 metres across the River Thames near Woolwich & protects 125 square kilometres of central London from flooding caused by tidal surges. It has 10 steel gates that can be raised into position across the River Thames. When raised, the main gates stand as high as a 5-storey building and as wide as the opening of Tower Bridge. Each main gate weighs 3,300 tonnes.

To reach this place you have to climb bare foot 700 steps. This old lady was not able to stand straight but she climbed these many cumbersome steps so that she can pray in this famous Jain holy place.
