I had the privilege of spending the day at the British Wildlife Centre yesterday and became closely acquainted with the newest Fox on the block - Morty!! He's a mischievous youngster with oodles of personality!!

My Morty Moment.
An urban legend is born.
About seven years ago l tried the internet dating seen, to say it was interesting was an understatement.
For one summer l got to travel all over the state and have dates.
Despite being over two hundred pounds or 105 kg s l would still phone a friend, to say where l was, and that l was going on a blind internet date, just in case she turned out to be a female John Jarret rerun of Wolf Creek, and had a sledge hammer for my ankles if l tried to get away.
It was around Christmas, and l had a date, part of the date was to go to Woodend for lunch, and have some craft beer at the Holgate Brewhouse.
Before we caught up, l thought l would walk around and do some Christmas shopping.
I don’t mind cooking, although l am not the best at it, the process is relaxing, and l always find eating a meal l have made myself rewarding.
I found a homeware & kitchenware shop, and spotted the vegetable knife pictured over the map.
On an impulse buy, l bought it, and it should be noted that it is an excellent kitchen knife!
The part where it gets like a George Costanza skit out of Seinfeld, is we met at Woodend, and l had nowhere to stash the mini cleaver.
Doh!
We went to lunch, and she thought l had bought her a gift for the date and Christmas. She asked what l had, and pestered me to see what l had bought.
She was a little set back when l told her l had bought a mini cleaver, but she was a trooper, and was very cool considering her blind date had what looked like a meat hatchet.
Yes! l took a meat cleaver to a blind internet date.
Funny enough the date went well.

So, I've been watching a bunch of rick and Morty, and by far my favorite character is Mr. Meeseeks. So I had to make him to go along with my semi-custom Rick and Morty figures.
This guy was entirely painted a shade of blue that I mixed. I also sanded down his torso to make him thiner.
His head was the CMF Gingerbread Man head.
I chose to do the version of Mr. Meeseeks with the tuff of hair, so I made it using the small rubber like things I had, glued them to the head, and painted them orange.

I didn't know Gabriel made womens clothes now, these pants are great. The very nice looking boots that came with would also be great but EEEk size is way off for womens feet, at least on my av they are.

Well, I finally made some new customs instead of just more DC fig barfs.
I've been wanting to make these guys for a while now, and since Rick and Morty season 3 is now well underway, I thought it was a good time to do it, and I had the proper motivation to make them.
From L to R:
Morty: Overall, very simple. His hair is modded classic Han Solo hair. His face was all painted but the eyes. His torso was sanded to make him thinner. The flesh on the arms is paint. I also made him some posable short legs.
Rick: His hair was sculpted out of green stuff onto a light grey head. I used light grey because Ricks skin in the show is very muted and pale, and light grey is the closet color to that skin tone. His face was entirely painted. His torso was also slimmed, and the color on the torso was mixed. I painted the same color around his wrist. The lab coat is made from an index card and clear scotch tape. The legs were just painted.
The portal gun is made from a white Lego bar, a white 1 by 1 tile, a piece of trans green Lego bar, and a piece of e tape. The other details were painted on.
The portal in the background was just painted by myself onto a brick built wall. The portal attaches to a base for these two guys.

This figure was pretty simple to make and I like how I turned out. I actually finished this a few days ago but I didn't like how the eyes looked and so I redid them and they look so much better.
For the head I used the original lego hair that I sanded. The face was all painted and I really like the look of it.
The rest is self explanatory, a slimed and shortened torso with shorter arms and legs, and painted shoes and arms.
I have two more Rick and Morty figures that I'm working on, one of them being Rick and another character that I want to keep as a surprise.

Recently I have been working on a lot of MCU figures and I really wanted to take a break and make non super hero figures so I finally am working on some rick and morty customs. I've always wanted to make them but never got around to doing so.
For Mr Meeseeks it is a very simple figure, and the only challenge was getting the blue color right which coincidentally ended up matching one of legos blues.
The head was the CMF gingerbread man and the torso was shaved down to make him skinnier.

I'm sure there was some parts crossover with Alex The Lego Fan, cause I remember he did a set of these, but I didn't look up his before I made my own.
