This face once helped wake up a city. It was a huge city, and for a few years an obscene number of people saw or heard me every work day. I had big fun, learned a lot, saw many things and lived really well.

I don't miss it much. I do what I do and enjoy it for the new experiences each day offers.

Me and my dad didn't talk much. When we did, he would tell me 'your future is in your hands.'

Dad's been gone awhile... D-P, my hand now holds my past.

Found in Jacksonville a few months ago.

Next time you have an extra 3 minutes and want a little comic relief, check out this audio clip (it has nothing to do with the photo):

Anyone who is a fan of Breakfast Television will recognize Dina Pugliese, who along with her co-host Kevin Frankish and the crew, including Jennifer Valentyne and Frank Farragine, serve up great news, information and entertainment with Toronto’s Number One Morning Show, on Citytv.

For more than two million viewers in the GTA, it’s the perfect way to begin the day, a cup of coffee and BT. What a great combo.

Simply the best place to get caught up on the latest news n’ sports, plan the daily commute, get business, weather, traffic and transit reports and be up to date on all the juicy gossip & whisperings from the world of entertainment. Love that part.

Thanks BT! I’m a fan.

"Selfie" was the Word of the Year last year, and it's only gotten weirder since. Although pole mounts for cameras have been around for nearly a decade (QuickPod, anyone?), "selfie sticks" for smartphones exploded in Asia a few years ago and are now everywhere.

I'm actually not a 'selfie' kind of person, notorious for hundreds of vacation photos that rarely include people, but these Bluetooth-enhanced phone holders are a lot of fun. Here are a few shots that demonstrate how easily amused I am, and how poor a front-facing cameraman I am as well.

Of course I have something say to our live audience!

Gayle Anderson visited the Museum of Neon Art this morning for the KTLA morning news show. Who knew I;d be in just about every sequence through the morning. Did I mention I had to wake up at 5:30 to be at MONA and on the air 45 minutes later?

It was a great morning with only a few gaffes expected of live TV. I won't get into the details, but I did have a great time as well as the rest of the museum crew. Thanks Gayle!
