A tale of passion, envy and grief
My aim here was to create a eerie moody film showing the reaction to an act of passion; fairies are after all passionate creatures.
The wings are Faeline Fairy Moriko (silver).

2 days in bed with a super bad cold and in the middle of a horrific snow storm...what's a girl to do??? PLAY WITH DOLLIES, of course!
I present to you: Moriko, the forest girl.
She is the custom doll I was making for my 6 th Anniversary with IHAVE WINGS, but unfortunately work, life and many other things got in the way and instead of being ready for June she is ready now.
Moriko is the ultimate Mori Girl. She has been rerooted with premium quality angora mohair (in the secure knot method - plug by plug) styled and curled carefully.
She comes with two whole ensembles featuring more than 16 items; all handmade by me.

Welcome to our home sim - Mori no Shima.
Our sim is currently open to the public and the interior of our home will be open to the public during the 2015 Tour of Lights (December 18 - 21). We would ask that you refrain from public nudity, sex and that you treat other visitors with respect. Thanks for your understanding!

SOME THINGS TO DO WHILE YOU ARE VISITING US
Please explore because we have not detailed everything in this guide. Also, there is some adult furniture, which is set to group, so visitors cannot use it - sorry.
1. Enjoy our hospitality:
- grab some hot cider or chocolate at the front door
- get eggnog latte or gingerbread cookie in the kitchen
- get breakfast stuff from the toaster in the kitchen
- on the kitchen counter are bottles of white and red wine, and an espresso machine
- there is a tray with hot chocolate on the table in front of the cabin near the skating pond
- there is soup over the fire at the beach, please give it a stir or it will burn (Sit on the pot)
2. Skating:
- Set your windlight to region default and the water around our island will turn to ice. There is an invisible prim just under the surface, so you can skate everywhere you like.
- The greeter at the landing point gave you a folder with free skates for guys + girls so you're all set. Of course you can use your own skates too.
- The little frozen pond near the small cabin can also animate you to skate (just click on it), and there is a couple skating poseball set there as well.
- Out on the frozen lake you can find a group skating system for up to ten people.
3. Dancing:
Dancing for singles and couples is contained in sundials, which are spread around the sim (look for the hover text). Click the sundial for couple dances and the bottom for singles. This is where you will find them:
- back deck of house
- cabin near skating rink
- beach (find the mistletoe in the gazebo :-)
- dock
4. Sledding:
- At the end of the stairs from the big bridge to the path down to the beach is a sled, it can rez a sled for 1, 2 or 3 people, hop on and steer your way down to the ice.
5. Nature walks:
- Cross the bridge and walk down the path through the forest to the cabin, the skating pond and the beach.
- Take the Zipline down to the dock, walk on the ice to the lighthouse and take a ride to the top.
- Walk down the rocky path to the hanging bridge, cross the forest and go to the beach.
- The forest is full of deer and other animals, have a look and see what you can find!
6. Photography:
Please do take snaps to remember your visit. If you have a Flickr account, Moriko would love it if you would add her to your art so that we can enjoy seeing our home sim through your eyes.
7. Cats and other animals:
- Nermal is a bit stand-offish but Mori-chan is alway happy to get some petting (right-click, select "Pet..." from the menu).
- You can feed the budgies and the hamster in the kitchen by clicking on the cages and select "tend".
- There are lots of birds - try to listen to see if you can recognize them! There are chickades, cardinals, woodpecker, barn and snowy owl, crow, robin, mourning dove and blue jay.
- There are ermines in the undergrowth near the gazebo on the beach, they are fun to watch!
- The Finger Rock at the south-west tip of the island is home to a pair of eagles.
8. Playground:
The playground is usable by ToddleeDoo avatars mostly, and Zooby babies.

Legacy Day Cerise becomes Moriko Repulsa. I LOVE LD Cerise's face. It makes me REALLY want China variant sig Cerise x2-3 which has not happened YET >.<
Anyway, the haircut is temporary until I reroot her and Zita...which since the brown hair is the shade I need, I wouldn't bother with if it weren't for the white streaks.
Mori is wearing Bratz Masquerade Kirana's dress and Vamp CaM's shoes. Her laces are all messed up but I'll hopefully fix it soonish.
Mori loves to listen to the rustling of the fields blowing in the wind... to see the bleakness of the land all around her.
Nature is her natural landscape <3

There are 2 photo op places - on the corner of the bridge near the front of the house there is mistletoe with poseballs. And on the beach by the horse barn is an adorable couples snow angel.

- you can feed the turtle, the budgies and the hamster in the kitchen by clicking on the cages and select "tend".

chickadees, cardinals, woodpecker, barn and snowy owl, crow, robin, mourning dove and blue jay.
- There are ermines in the undergrowth near the horse barn, they are fun to watch!
- The cliff behind the forest is home to a pair of eagles.
- The penguins near the dock at the bottom of the zip line are almost as silly as the ones in that Happy Feet movie.
- The horses outside the barn are free to ride inside the training area (hop over the invisible barrier to get in) but please don't upset the two breeding pairs of reindeer in the barn, they need peace and quiet with their young ones.
8. Playground:
The playground is usable by ToddleeDoos and other smalls.
9. The Orrery and the Planetary Walk:
Near the beach on the east side of the island is a pavilion with an antique orrery, that is a mechanical model of our solar system. The orrery has been set to display the actual real position of the planets around the sun. Outside the pavilion you find a teleporter which will take you up to the planetary walk, another model of the solar system. That one is partially to scale, i.e. the distances of the planets to each other and to the sun are to scale, the sizes of the planets and the sun are not (they would be way too small otherwise).
If you walk straight from the sun all the way to Pluto without stopping at the normal SL walking speed, you'd be moving at 320 times the speed of light ... or warp 5.643 as they measure it in star Trek Voyager. Live long, and prosper! Oh by the way, don't worry, you can't fall off the planetary walk.

First there was 'issa Moriko' and after her came Ginger Root Gnome 'Nana Dae Djahé'. This time I'm thinking of making a Ginger Faerie.
Origin: Japanese ginger (myōga (茗荷) is the species Zingiber mioga in the Zingiberaceae family.
