The night was very clear, so I decided to travel to the chosen location.
Before completely cleared, my mentor Dimas posed with the clouds quickly moved by the wind, tracing along the long exposure.
Picture illuminated only by the light of the crescent moon and a headlamp to illuminate the lowest part.
I included a person in the photograph to give the ratio of size of the big rock.

Gazing at the stars so bright

Alone in the night, pitch black, in the freezing cold just to take a picture of a frozen lake? Sure, why not?!
Set the shutter to 6 seconds and the ISO to 2500 here to see the effects under the night light and moonlight along the ocean.
What’s up guys? Sill kinda in the landscape mood. I’m really excited to share this crescent moon from a Split Rock Lighthouse in Minnesota. This image reminds of those calm and relaxing moments we had. What do you think?

Looking down from Beinn a' Chrulaiste towards a snow covered landscape towards the 3 sisters of Glencoe by a pink moonlight...such a beautiful view.
A handheld image with the Sony RX10 while I was making another shot with the A7r on its tripod looking the other way...multitasking or what:)

While out looking for owls at dusk the Wolf Moon rose above the horizon. No owls, but some surprised deer foraging for food made for a wonderful early evening capture.
When I paint moonlight night, I feel the very powerful energy of the Universe and I hope that you also will feel it too.
