This moody photo is a reflection of the time we spent exploring the Campbell National Park a few while ago. It was wet and windy, and we hardly saw the sun. Still a beautiful area though...
I haven't worked in monochrome for a long time, so I thought a photo just taken with my iPhone on an August walk called for black & white. In mid-August signs of autumn start to make themselves known. The misty day matched my mood; too much news of the day had entered my consciousness, and I was feeling in kind of a funk. There is nothing like a walk with your faithful dog to brighten your mood.

November can be a very gloomy month here on the Olympic Peninsula with endless wind and soggy rain. The raging of Covid-19 and the scary, malevolent clown still raging in the White House, mocking the Constitution and getting up to God knows what, don't help this time of gloom. Aargh! even the colors outside are fading as the riotous cheer of October colors gives way to delicate, somber hues as the last leaves cling to the trees.

Since our long spell of rain this month we have had beautiful blue skies, but such strong winds that there's been no chance to photograph my usual little June beasties!
And with work being crazy I apologise for slipping behind here too...hoping for a catch up at the weekend :)
