This imaged emerged from the following method:
.
1) Gather several images (textures, type, forms, colours etc ) with your Smartphone (I use an iPhone) .
.
2) Blend images of textures together with #SuperimposeX.
.
3) Dip in #Procreate (taking advantage of the wonderful brushes).
.
4) Whizz in #iColorama
.
5) Glaze, ice and decorate in Procreate (using finer brushes)
.
6) Optional Step: Bake in a filter or texture using an app like #Mextures, #Stackables or #DecoSketch.
.
7) Allow to cool. (Leave your image for at least 8 hours so you can see it with fresh eyes).
.
8) Weave imagination between steps 1-7
Voila!
I love creating collages taking inspiration from everyday life and imaginings, mostly combining the two. I create all of my work on an iOS device, shooting images with my iPhone and then editing them on my iPad Pro using an Apple Pencil.

It's wonderful when these things happen. Yesterday, while enjoying a fabulous cheese sandwich, I realized that the camel I was riding was just an illusion. Troubled for just a moment I concluded that when I'd said "sea horse" the vendor thought I'd meant "sawhorse." This explained why the trip was taking so long. Fortunately I was able to make a copy using a very large lump of Silly Putty left over from the evening festivities. Over the moon in a kind of strange bovine fantasy. The leap seemed utterly impossible until a surprise goose that the old man hadn't counted on stepped in and lifted his spirits as it were. The beautiful nurse had been so helpful, it seemed fitting to share the story. Sadly, the fitting the plumber brought was threaded and left a painful mark that will take some time to heal. The dog figured that out right away but had the wrong papers. Less absorbent, I think. After twenty three tries at making bean John Malkovich soup, it was clear I'd missed something. Normally, I'm a pretty poor listener, but it hadn't proven to be fatal very many times. (There was that incident with with pinking shears in the lingerie department at Lane Bryant, but we'll try to put that behind us. True, it wasn't exactly fatal, but if I'd have stood up any quicker, it would have been much tougher to sew back on. ) It was the best of times ( and the worst of times) to be a sausage maker, but only a few German speakers would make the connection, and having done so, would not not laugh anyway. I'd left my moral compass on a speaker and the magnet made it into a very different kind of tool. While not noted for real precision before, now its' constant spinning makes me feel like I'm in a music video. Longing to lipsync, the most I can manage is a kind of robot without the batteries thing that looks a lot better in a dark room with my eyes closed. This is where those early safety classes really pay dividends. No extra mustard for me thank you very much. He'd totally confused the directive to rotate stock and spent three long years trying to teach a herd of cattle to pirouette. Fortunately, he'd taken the advice of the tattoo artist and not had "insert thumb and tear along dotted line" done the familiar blue ink he liked. His head was was the right shape but he preferred nothing to boxers for fear of strangulation. Still, just being tired is no excuse unless enhanced with a made up head ache. Then, the reality of an owl and a real, self actualizing cat, on a boat, with limited resources started to show in some fundamental ways. Furry mammal, ( prone to hunting and consuming most things with feathers) and owl, (a close relative to reptiles that is fairly omnivorous and an indifferent killer), that enjoys the variety offered by the furry mammal of any swalloable (wait for it) size. While opposites conflict and danger are certainly attractive, ultimately, the inner sense that ones "life partner" is little more than a very challenging menu item, starts to rear ( if that kind of language is permitted) its' ugly head ( ditto, but the idea of ugly head is the stuff of real nightmares). So, with provisions being only a second thought, peril seemed inevitable. The color of the boat seemed less and less important as it turned out. Do go on.

Sitting peacefully on the porch chatting with my garden Noam Chomsky today, my mind wandered. Perhaps I'd over squeezed the limes to make the margaritas, or chosen the wrong font for the bumpersticker novel I was writing, it really didn't matter. These conversations are generally pretty one sided, but I'd turned this one over to keep it even on both sides. After I had taken the door off its' hinge to pick the lock to get in, the draft ran out and they took the tank away. With the right tonic, this came frightfully close to being a tasty malapropism. In the end, it proved to be a fruitless approach since the frost had wiped out all the buds. I gave up and went back to repairing the shoes I'd worn to the last dance before the accident.

Funny, I never noticed the after taste before. Of course, it's all I can taste now. Washing it first doesn't really make much difference unless the lights are going to be on. Plastics have advanced quite a bit, but you can still see the seam and this corner keeps catching. My marmoset never used to like going out, but now it's just a normal part of the routine. Is it too early to ask about yours? I don't mean to pry, but I've got this screwdriver and need to find something to do with it. Really? Which end were you thinking? My gardener friend taught me that a bush in the hand is always best, and that no bird is worth giving up a good duck for. Pretty sure that's how that went.
