Hace cosa de un mes que decidí volver visitar en solitario esta preciosidad. Si pudiera pasar por ella sin pisarla lo haría, porque es un lugar lleno de flores de muchos tipos, helechos… pero como todavía no puedo volar, intente andar lo menos posible y mirar muy bien por donde pisaba. Tenía muchos encuadres muy parecidos, pero decidí incluir la piedra del primer plano completa aún a riesgo de perder fuerza en el agua del rápido que se formaba junto a ella.

Ya tenía ganas de hacer alguna fotografía de este tipo. Y qué mejor lugar para probar que en una de las cascadas más bonitas que existen. A veces hacemos locuras madrugando o haciendo cientos o miles de kms y otras con la cámara en la mano y un poco de imaginación más cerca de casa. Aunque ese día también madrugué un huevo 😜

Originally named "sow and piglets" by George Bass in 1798, they were renamed the apostles in the 1920's for marketing purposes. The name then evolved to the twelve apostles (even though there was only nine). Now due to erosion only seven remain.

Hunting auroras can be quite stressful. You are in a strange location in

pitch darkness. Try not to crash the rental car. You are on holiday and there is not much time. Pressure to find

interesting composition. Is my exposure good, when Lady Green is

shifting all the time to brighter and darker? Does my @ss look

big in these trekking pants?

That is why I decided to this take it slow and just enjoy the amazing show on display. For a very long time it was my dream to witness >KP5 geomagnetic

storm in the far north and finally I got lucky. Worth it!
