On Sunday, July 30, 2023, we gathered together to praise the Lord our God together in song, to pray together, and to hear a sermon from Pastor Don Beachy on "Envy & Ambition" from James 3:13-18.
On Sunday, May 28, 2017, Pastor Ves Sheely preached his last sermon at Beacon Hill Church in Monroe, CT as our interim senior pastor. Afterwards, we threw him a fellowship luncheon which included prayers for him, gifts, cake, and a prayer of blessing from him on the church.
We had a little backyard drama today when a baby house wren fell out of the bird house. It's not quite old enough to fly. I read that it's best to leave them alone and in many cases, the parents will continue to feed it. It was hopping around all over the place and eventually the parents found it and were bringing it food.
On Sunday, December 9, 2018, we celebrated the second Sunday of Advent and looked forward to the birth of Jesus Christ. We sang Christmas carols, worship songs, and heard a sermon on the Great Commission from Pastor Don Beachy.

On Wednesday, April 26 2017, the annual AWANA Grand Prix was held at Beacon Hill Church in Monroe, CT. Kids age 2 to grade 6 competed in a pinewood derby and cheered each other on the way to victory... or just rolling down the hill.

On Sunday, September 4, 2016, we had several members of the extended Beacon Hill Church family visiting. Tim Bakies gave a report on his youth pastor work in Arizona and Sherman Driver preached. Both stayed for a fellowship luncheon afterwards.
