On Sunday, December 2, 2018, we worshipped the Lord together and welcomed Pastor Don Beachy as the new Senior Pastor of Beacon Hill Church. He preached an inaugural sermon on the Great Commission and lead the church in Communion.
On Sunday, September 10, 2017, we welcomed Pastor Sam Huggard (NEDA director) to the pulpit who preached on churches in transition. After a vote on a senior pastor candidate and a director of youth ministry, we enjoyed a nice fellowship luncheon.

On Sunday, January 27, 2019, we held a special worship service to celebrate the installation of Pastor Don Beachy as Senior Pastor of Beacon Hill Church. Pastor Sam Huggard, head of NEDA, brought a sermon as a challenge to the congregation and the pastor. We ended the celebration with a potluck luncheon.

Pastor Don announced the 20th aniversary of the Pothanszky's service as worship leaders, a new teen ministry director, and preached both a children's sermon and an adult's sermon entitled "Saved For… " from Ephesians 2:1-10.

On Sunday, February 11, 2018, Pastor Rob Turner preached on "Kindred Spirit", Nick Calawa announced a new Youth Adults group, Al Campanelli announced a short term missions trip, and Chris Rowley reported on his outreach to international students.
On Wednesday, April 24, 2019, AWANA at Beacon Hill Church held their annual Grand Prix Race (i.e. a pinewood derby). Kids competed for both fastest and slowest car (that still passed the finish line). Awards were also given for creativity in car design. A good time was had by all!
On Sunday, June 11, 2017, Pastor Rich Flashman returned to Beacon Hill Church to share his ministry and preach to us. It was a 90 degree F day, so everyone was encouraged to wear shorts and cool shirts.

On Wednesday, April 26 2017, the annual AWANA Grand Prix was held at Beacon Hill Church in Monroe, CT. Kids age 2 to grade 6 competed in a pinewood derby and cheered each other on the way to victory... or just rolling down the hill.

On Sunday, June 26, 2016, David Negreiro (former youth director) returned to Beacon Hill Church to preach and introduce us to his fiancé.
On Sunday, May 28, 2017, Pastor Ves Sheely preached his last sermon at Beacon Hill Church in Monroe, CT as our interim senior pastor. Afterwards, we threw him a fellowship luncheon which included prayers for him, gifts, cake, and a prayer of blessing from him on the church.

On Sunday, April 2, 2023, we gathered to celebrate Palm Sunday - the remembrance of Jesus's triumphal entry into Jerusalem. We sang songs of praise, we raised palms in the air and sang "Hosanna", the kids had a palm parade, and we heard a sermon from Pastor Don Beachy on Jesus before Pontius Pilate in the gospel of Matthew.
