On Sunday, March 17, 2019, we worshipped God together and heard a sermon from Pastor Don Beachy on Genesis 1 and our identity in God. Afterwards, we held our Annual Dinner and Congregational Meeting.
On Sunday, April 7, 2019, we worshipped the Lord together, lead by Senior Pastor Don Beachy on guitar and we received a sermon from Youth Director Nick Calawa. Then we celebrated Communion together.
On Sunday, May 26, 2019, we worshipped the Lord and remembered the men and women who died to protect our freedom to worship. (Monday is Memorial Day.) Pastor Don preached a sermon on the "Hurt" Beatitudes and persecution of Christians around the world.

On Wednesday, April 24, 2019, AWANA at Beacon Hill Church held their annual Grand Prix Race (i.e. a pinewood derby). Kids competed for both fastest and slowest car (that still passed the finish line). Awards were also given for creativity in car design. A good time was had by all!
On Sunday, October 22, 2017, we gathered for a special worship service of song and testimony. Instead of a sermon, the worship team lead us in an extended time of musical worship and shared testimonies from their own lives of what God had done for them. Afterwards, we had a potluck luncheon together.

On Sunday, January 27, 2019, we held a special worship service to celebrate the installation of Pastor Don Beachy as Senior Pastor of Beacon Hill Church. Pastor Sam Huggard, head of NEDA, brought a sermon as a challenge to the congregation and the pastor. We ended the celebration with a potluck luncheon.

We sang songs of praise, we raised palms in the air and sang "Hosanna", the kids had a palm parade, and we heard a sermon from Pastor Don Beachy on Jesus before Pontius Pilate in the gospel of Matthew.

On Sunday, August 5, 2018, Pastor Rob Turner brought a message on the Holy Spirit to Beacon Hill Church and then lead us in celebrating Communion. Pastor Ron Fay also visited and gave the benediction.

I stopped at Great Hollow Lake the morning after a big storm with heavy rain and strong winds. There were lots of migrating birds that must have come down during the storm including a flock of 20-30 bluebirds. I've never seen so many at one time before!

Housatonic River escaping the confines of the Stevenson dam, which makes Lake Zoar, a little electricity from time to time and stops some floooding in the rivers natural flood plain so developers could get rich building stuff close to a river.
