Dogwood blossom from my yard. And yes, I know it's technically not a flower but a bract. Revisited this image using Nik SilverEfex for the black and white conversion. Here's the original in color.

Dormant red blueberry bushes, contrast against the natural occurring monotones that are due to the foggy conditions.
During the Spring and Summer months, the leaves of the blueberry bushes are green.
Beginning in the Fall season the leaves start changing colour to an Autumn red. The exposure to cooler Winter temperatures turn the plants to this beautiful deep burgundy red colour.
If you look closely at the trio of trees to the right, you may see that the top of the center tree has snapped completely off, and hangs suspended in the branches of the tree beside it.

Another image from our recent session. Do like the monotoned edits. Thanks for your appreciation, Gail
A monotone still life photo of the top of a portion of my wife’s dresser. Although I don’t perceive how things will look in black and white very well, this scene did seem to jump out at me.

A moody early morning shot of the Callanish I stones in black and white. The circle has been called the Stonehenge of the North and radiocarbon dating shows that the stones were erected in the late Neolithic period (2900-2600 BC) around the same time as Stonehenge. Spring in my "Sun garden"
For convenience of maintenance and gardening, I divided my garden into two areas that I called, respectively, The Sun and The Moon, according to their position above the garden and seasonal movement in the sky.
Cylindropuntia fulgida, the jumping cholla, also known as the hanging chain cholla, is a cholla cactus native to Sonora and the Southwestern United States.
It's in literature that true life can be found. It's under the mask of fiction that you can tell the truth.
