I borrowed a book from the library that had lots of cool writing (monograms). This is one of my favourites
I love her, at the moment she's the prettiest Monogram to me.... (maybe because she is the only one I have seen in person ;)..... I'm getting some more in the next few weeks, stay tuned !!!!!!!!

Trying out some monogram fonts. As per monogram rules, my last initial is the capital S in the middle, while my first two initials are placed left and right.
This makes a lovely housewarming gift. The embroidered roll of toilet paper comes wrapped in tulle with a coordinating bow and the hand towels are edged with a coordinating fabric.
I used the color scheme that is found in the beginning of the "Decorative Embroidery" section because I preferred that to the pastels -- let me know if you want the color numbers.
This was my first time embroidering since childhood (other than a few very simple backstitch things), and I found it very doable, although time-consuming.
