Bass Monogram apron wine leather

This tote bag is made with black faux leather fabric and plush faux zebra skin. I digitized the C monogram and the frame around it, which was actually a ding bat. I chose that frame because it looks like zebra or tiger stripes. the zebra striped webbing was wide enough for me to fold most of it in half to give it a rolled appearance feel when carrying, and the straps are long enough to carry the bag over the shoulder.

Tara was beyond thrilled when she saw what I had created for her based on our discussion. all she knew was that it would be a tote bag and I'd use black faux leather and fauz zebra skin and embroidery the C monogram. I actually had planned to use more zebra and less black but i didn't have as much zebra fabric as I originally thought. and now I'm glad for that because i REALLY like how this turned out myself!

I got the plain monograms ready with each childs first initial. They decorated them with gems and glue. I think they came out great.

Monogram -- plastic

Purchased this back in the late 90s, early 2000s, during my eBay crazy days. I finally got around to work on it last week.

All painted with Sharpies markers except for the white propeller tips which I goofed off and painted them black initially and had to use white acrylic paint to repair them. Also painted the middle part of the tail fin all red, and had to paint back in white. The red and blue stripes on the fuselage were the toughest. There was no marking specifically for the stripes and I had to rely on the photos on the box and use the raised dots on the fuselage and eyeball the angle and width. Even marker bled underneath the masking tape and I had to scrape it off, smudges all over...

The decals were horrendous. There were a few that had no details, like what's the point?

This is one of my favourite models as Albatross is one of my favourite aircraft exemplifying my obsession with propellers. The colour scheme is also very attractive. But the biggest turn on for me for this model is the retractable landing gears!

This kit comes with additional figures for those who wish to create a diorama of a sea rescue scene.

(More of this model in my Scale Model (vehicle) set)

Flowers were cut with Silhouette die cutter, colored with markers, then quilled into shape.

Key fob made with black webbing and red polka dot ribbon and monogrammed in black using the Marie font.

Colors/monogram matched the invitations. I added about half of the 'C's' the morning of the wedding, thank goodness I left the other half to place on top until I arrived. Humidity got the best of these. Even after drying, these still wilted. :(
