I built this car for my first experience of club racing, in a vintage slot car series at the local commercial raceway. It wasn't 100% correct, based on a '67 K and B inline Kangaroo chassis, and a re-issued Monogram body (and with original Cox magnesium Chaparral wheels), but it was allowed; and I proceeded to begin learning a lot about big-scale slot racing.
The skirt of this little pinafore is reminiscent of vintage pillow cases except this one is personalized.

This short -- 6.25" long -- letter template fits both the 36058 (round) and the 41704 (oval)monogram units.
Although I pretty much understand parts of the 50`s era fashions I did not feel the oblong silhouette of her "paniers" very becoming so I steamed them down which looks more logical to me.

12 inch Round with Fondant Band, red on red fondant applique and sugar pearl accents. Sugar and pearl handmade monogram topper. This was loosely based on my white fondant applique buttercream cake.

This Monogram Porsche was restored about 4 years ago and us all Monogram except for the Revell motor.
