i found a picture of a large monogram that could be hung in front of a door on theknot.com. when i discovered these mdf letters at hobby lobby, i knew i had to make my own custom monograms.
In this image of a monogram on a men's dress shirt cuff notice how the lettering follows the fabrics pattern.

All items were printed at Kinkos and assembled at home by hand. I used a circle cutter to cut the circles from the printed pattern paper, then embossed it using a custom 2" embosser I bought online.
