I hope this sends you back in time? Here is the last image, for now, of this Detroit series. This is a beautiful “Grand Army of the Republic (GAR) Building. It was designed by architect Julius Hess, and constructed at 1942 West Grand River and Cass as an appropriate structure for meetings and other GAR related activities. This Richardsonian Romanesque-designed building lies on a small, triangular lot on the northwest side of downtown Detroit” (Wiki). We really enjoyed photographing this gem. What do you think?

Have you give it a try? I must tell you that since I came to Chicago I wanted to get this image underneath the train trucks, people and car free, but for obvious reason I wasn’t able to. And believe me I tried. As much as I hate what is going on around us for the past couple of months capturing this image made me really happy. Always looking for the little things we can hang on to! What do you think?

How did you start your weekend? I know if you are in Chicago you are probably planing to grab a shot of the upcoming chicagohenge. I don’t blame you because it’s quite a photography rush out there and it is contagious. While I’m contemplating on it with the few of my closest ones here is another travel image and this time from Detroit. This interior of the McGregor Memorial Conference Center. What do you think?
Are you all ready for the new week? We are up and running and looking forward to this weeks time saving change. I love having the option to catch the sunset before work without stressing about time. It makes a world of difference. For now I will leave you with the landscape shot from Wisconsin. What do you think?
