Ladies and Gentlemen, meet Dean...
Mr Dino and I were chatting to some friends inthe local pub, when this really tall fella walked out behind us, for a quick cigarette... "Go!" said Mr D..."Stranger!" (he is so brill!!)
And so I met Dean...
I have to say he is very...TALL,
He is in illuminated sign repair and maintenance, and works out of Margate...a seaside town in Kent, England. He was having lunch in a country pub, with is nearest and dearest, when I jumped into his smoke time...
Random comment: He drives a Triumph Trident motorbike - and he was GIVEN it about 4 years ago!

One of our favorite moments of the week...
When Wednesday comes, after 6pm, Anton comes back from work carrying all the weekly goodies from his company (DC Comics), while I carry the stuff from Marvel (the competition) that I buy at a local comic store. We hit the Starbucks in our blog, sit down (if possible by the two stools on the right window) and have our latte with some reading that often turns into photo shooting of interesting characters that walk in or by the cafe.

Moods in the water and sky just off Oxley Beach in Port Macquarie.It began to rain quite heavily just after this image was taken and I was lucky to make it back over the rocks and into the car without being drenched.
We're traveling to Anaheim (California) this weekend. I'll be guest speaker at a very important photographic convention, to talk about my iPhoneography work. I get to take Anton with me. We might be able to spend the last day in Disneyland before flying back...
There might be problems here and there in life around us. But as long as we are who we are, and we have and rely on each other, it'll all be fine! Nothing will take the smiles from us!

In mono, which apart from the tip of the beak (which is yellow) they are pretty much white and black.
New years day and we were up at 4:45 to head to Derbyshire. We have tried a few time to see these plug holes with water flowing down them, the nearest we got was when the water was about an inch short of coming over.
It was a five minute walk from the car to the dam and you could see them until we was almost there.
The sight and sound was amazing which made the early start and long drive a distant memory.
The plug hole was using in the new Mission Impossible film;
This shot (and a couple of others), have been inspired by Lo Li, a longtime Flickr contact of mine. I first noticed her almost four years ago, thanks to a great dog-shaking-itself-and-soaking-a-nearby-kid picture, and since then she's evolved a really distinctive high-key mono style for herself. You'll see echoes of the photos of her own chocolate labrador, Capone, in a couple of my uploads to come.
