Finally found a woman that wanted me...... I like the outdoors better than photography really. This young lady was at my camp every day. It was a pet from the local tribes people who were clearing the land and planting trees. A remote site in Northern Thailand. On the border of Burma and Thailand.

I have run across a few monkeys as pets here. Most abandoned by there mom because of tourists or locals destroying there habitat. Some survive and make pretty good pets i think. Deep in the jungle these are pets that run free. Like a dog or cat in some ways. A much better life for them i think.

This photo was taken in the zoo "apenheul" in the Netherlands. In some parts of the zoo are monkeys running around freely, making it easy to get very close to your subjects.

I'M BACK! I've recently returned from an incredible 10 weeks in Peru. And I spent 2 months volunteering for a biological station as a field volunteer. I saw plenty of monkeys and took my camera on a few surveys.

One of the monkeys at the Philadelphia Zoo. I was enjoying seeeing them and taking pictures and I didn't write down the names.

I will be off Flickr for a while. Taking a break. Processing photos and sending them to Flickr has become too time-consuming and laborious. I'll be back from time to time, because I still have lots of pics to uplad, but for now, I've got a bunch of other things to do.
