These guys were just walking around on the treese just above our heads. The lady mentioned if we had food it would probably land on us and hang out, but.. dont have food...
The rock of Gibraltar. A long work, a lot of monkeys. And a rather nerve-wracking moment smuggling too many cigarettes through customs.
Unfortunately, we didn't spend a lot of time at the zoo when I went last month so there aren't a lot of great pictures of animals. There is, however, a lot of this guy. Apparently, this little monkey got a hold of a bird. Instead of a new playmate, this feathered friend was rendered apart and then devoured by the hungry simian. All in front of plenty of kids and horrified zoo-goers. And I just kept clicking away, trying to capture every moment of it.
Taken in Haller park Bamburi Mombasa - we live about 10 minutes from here and monkeys often appear in the Kindergarten looking for easy pickings at mealtimes
