Trentham Monkey Forest is a 60 acre area with 140 free roaming Barbary Macaques. You get to wander amongst them - no bars and no glass between you! Awesome! Oh - and they currently have 12 babies!

langur monkey - Hanuman Langur (Semnopitheaus entellus) is adapted to eating tough food which others find indigestible. They can even eat seeds with high levels of the toxins like strychnine

Vervet monkeys sharing a drink. A family group came down to Kamasinga (Mkhuze game reserve) and one female had a small baby with her.

 

They might look innocent but don't leave any food out at camp as they'll sure to run off with it.

The families who live at the edge of the reservoir have no love for the monkeys. They're noisy and steal the fruit in their gardens. One guy scared this one off with a catapult.

This monkey was part of a group sitting next to the road between Joal end Mbour in Senegal

The Squirrel Monkey is the most abundant monkey in the Amazon Rainforest. Squirrel Monkeys stick together in groups of around twenty to one hundred. These monkeys are often found near large bodies of water.
