UPDATE: switching color matching to Monitor Profile fixed it. Thanks to Flickr user ~andre for figuring out this subtle issue!
The top frame is the RAW picture in DPP, after adjusting for white balance and some tone curves. I then used Convert and Save to convert it to a JPG and resize it to 2400x1600. The bottom frame is the resultant JPG, opened in Preview. What gives? It's like it didn't save any of the corrections. I've honestly never had this problem before. I restarted DPP several times, no luck.
AH! Edited to note that my dear, patient husband figured out that DPP is not saving the white balance correction if it's done via the Color Temperature setting. ARGH. Nor is it saving it if I change it to, say, Tungsten from whatever the in-camera setting was. The only thing that works is keeping the original setting, or using click white balance.
DPP 3.7.3, on OS 10.5.8.
Varanid lizards are very intelligent, and some species can even count. Careful studies feeding V. albigularis at the San Diego Zoo varying numbers of snails showed they can distinguish numbers up to six.
Hydraulic monitor used at Dan Creek to wash down the gold bearing gravel and wash it through a sluice box to recover the gold.
This poor huge guy came from the newly cut bush area nearby (for land development)... It had lost its home... I asked my mum if we could call someone better equiped to take it to a patch of jungle, but she said no, they'll just kill it (this is how it is in in this town, cruel). We didn't want to handle it ourselves because it was a large one, its body about 1 metre long. It had huge sharp claws and a pretty big mouth. My past dogs used to try attacking smaller ones, and they (the dogs) would foam at the mouth from some sort of venom...
Anyway, this lizard couldn't get to the jungle behind the house since it's all blocked off.. but it went into the big drain and disappeared. Hopefully it found its way somehow.
The people who moved Steve's monitor moved it using a hammer. It's ok, he has a new monitor now. www.flickr.com/photos/jaffathecake/3027566122/
PROBE - Continuous Monitoring
PROBE is a specialized system which will execute the framed set of rules that are expected to be adhered to. This automated continuous monitoring provides much benefits in terms of identifying non compliances at the earliest and thereby reducing the risk the bank is exposed to. The risk is continuously assessed based on the rule failures and the score is available at any point of time to understand the risk of the offsite audited checklists. It would effectively reduce time taken for regular RBIA onsite.

Monitor connectat a un ordinador ubicat al taulell de préstec. Informació sobre activitats de la biblioteca, reverva s'aules, incidències, cursos, normes d'ús, etc.
This is a 100% true photograph.
I first removed the monitor, to photograph the background,
then uploaded that image to the computer, displaying it (resizing etc.),
then I photographed this one ! Not bad for a first attempt isn't it?
