Varanus salvator salvator or Water Monitor is the second largest lizard in the world after the Komodo Dragon.
This monitor connects to the computer through the VGA port. However, this is an analog monitor, which means that it cannot produce an HD image.
Quahog Bay Conservancy Staff collect water samples weekly at seven established monitoring stations throughout the Bay, which are screened for total coliforms (sewage contamination). Samples are tracked and analyzed for patterns based on location, tides run-off, or other adverse conditions. Data from monitoring will be used to identify 'hot spot' problem areas. The sample pictured here was collected and tested on August 10, 2016.
