I thought the iPad was pretty lame, since its just a gigantic iphone. Here what I imagine might come out in the future. The iPad idea, using a table for the monitor, but Pad would be able to connect wirelessly with the Macbook Pro body. The Wireless base would hold an even larger amount of hard drive space, and have connection ports for Iphones and Ipod touches. When connected to the Pad Pro body iphones and ipods touch screens can be used as addition windows. Making it easier to move a webpage from the desktop to the iphone. When the iphone is connected to the base, the Ipad will able to use the iphones 3g network to browse the internet.
The tablet would also have additional wireless features. A seamless transmission of data from the D90 to the Pad Pro. Allowing for Large Scale Live View.
I built a frame that supports my monitors and my rackmount items for my studio.
Now if I could just tidy up my cables...

Former ROC Nuclear Monitoring bunker near Great Doddington, Northants. Over 1500 of these were built across the UK. Their purpose was the monitoring of nuclear blasts and fallout should the Cold War ever turn hot. 4 people would be housed in here along with the equipment needed to monitor the quality of the air outside and report back to central government.
This bunker is relatively intact, if a bit overgrown.
