Macro Mondays: Necklace

Macro Monday

Theme: Onion family

Size: Less than 3x3 inches

I was cutting up onions for cooking when I had this idea.

I picked up a few different shaped cut onions and arranged them in a straight line on a wooden box.

I placed the box near the glass sliding door facing the setting sun and shine an LED torch light at 2 o'clock.

Many thanks for your visit, comments and faves... it is always appreciated..

Used the tablet technique to achieve this. Very simple. Glass on a colourful picture in the tablet with of course oil in the glass. This was shot hand held. Focus might have been better if the camera had been mounted on a tripod.

Have a great Monday folks.

I admit to being very clumsy and sadly I managed to break this stopper from an expensive crystal decanter. Needless to say, 'her indoors' was not amused.

Happy Macro Monday

This is a battery powered lighted pen that we got when we attended the eBay Live 2003 Convention in Orlando, FL. It was on my moving sale table when I decided to try for a Macro Monday entry this week. I was able to get just a few shots before the batteries died.

Happy Macro Monday!!
